    Installed WP Bannerize today – normally get about 300 visits a day or so (double that for pageviews). Already have 2500 impressions according to the plugin. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Thanks.

    Hi fsimmons,
    in this release the impression doesn’t look for IP address.
    So if you refresh your page for five times, your impression increment by five.

    I’m experiencing the same thing and have been wondering about it.

    For example, from Dec 14 – Feb 9 Google Analytics is saying a little over 52,000 page views, but for the same span a WP Bannerize banner is saying nearly 121,000 impressions. Why the huge difference?

    I thought Google Analytics Page Views was straight up page loads regardless of IP address, so I would expect the banner to show around 52,000 impressions. Please help me understand how this works exactly.

    @gfazioli would really love a definitive answer on this. Thanks.

    @adamtro: because WP Bannerize do not look for IP. So if you refresh your page for five times, your impression increment by five.

    Hi,
    I know that WP Bannerize does not look for IP, but with every pageview it counts 2 pageviews instead of one.
    If I only see a page/banner once, it counts 2 – always double.

    @gfazioli:
    do you plan to implement an ip filter or something similar? that would improve the quality of the figures given in page impressions.

    @owcv, yes, I’m working for avoid multiple click and impressions.

    Thanks for suggestion
