[Plugin: WP Better Emails] Can't add links to subscribe email

    I have been trying to add a simple HTML link to my site’s subscribe emails. Whenever I do this, the email system fails.

    All I have so far is the default template with %blog_name% and %content% in it. I want to add this link underneath:

    <a href="https://example.com">My website</a>

    Once I add this code to the email template, emails are no longer sent to new subscribers and the “send test email” button no longer generates an email. If I delete the link, after about 20 minutes the emails start working again.

    Is this a known problem? I am using WP v3.4.1.

    Hi,

    There must be a problem else where. A single piece of HTML can’t be responsible.
