[Plugin: WP Biographia] Author Image Size Not Changing

Hmm. Sounds like a CSS issue rather than a plugin issue but let’s start with the basics. I’ve written up the questions which will help me sort this out here. Once I know what your environment is, I can dig deeper.

I noticed that the image was similar to the facebook image in the facebook CHAT bellow the author bio on my website.

So I disabled plugin “Ultimate facebook” and then the image for Biographia worked.
Is there a way these two plugins can live together? Can I possibly change a CSS ID for image for “Biographia?”

Would be good if they can work together….somehow. What do you think?

Do you have a link to the plugin? The only one I can find in the repository is https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wpmu-dev-facebook-addon/ … is this the one?

The other questions, in the post I linked to, would also be helpful so I can see if I can duplicate this.

The site (soccertalk.us) was WPMU/BuddyPress (at first), so yes thats the plugin.

Regarding the other questions:
1. Hosted with Hawk Host or Host gator I forget right now.
2. Template is purchased, standalone theme.
3. The Biographia is NEW just installed
4. The issue happened at first installation.

* I tried other Author Box plugins (similar to Biographia) and they worked fine, but they don’t adjust to TOP of post which I like.

I can probably find another Facebook plugin (I took off buddypress and wpmu awhile e back), Ill just need to research and find a goof facebook connect plugin….I tried other FB plugins (in the past) but they didnt hook up to the comments very well so i kept this WPMU one.

I might have to go the route of a new Fb Plugin..

So I’ve had a look at this and I’ve hit a blank wall I’m afraid. The WPMU Ultimate Facebook Addon plugin needs (and indeed fails without) the WPMU Ultimate Facebook plugin to be installed. This needs me to take out a WPMU DEV membership which isn’t something I’m happy or willing to pay for; I hope you can understand why.

From what I’ve been able to look at, it’s the WPMU Ultimate Facebook plugin that gets and displays an author’s image, not the addon, so I’m not sure what else I can look at for you.

Yeah, I wouldn’t get the membership either.
I took off the WPMU (as I dont wish to continue to pay for updates etc), and added WP Connect Plugin for the comments. It seems to be doing the job, so far.

But I will probably have to get two plugins to do everything that WPMU did. Oh well….
