  • This is a shortcoming of the plugin currently it seems. With the addition of edit ability, this plugin would really take off I think.

The plugin already has the ability for users to edit their listing and this is not done from the dashboard. The plugin does not handle the registrations or logins but leaves that to WordPress, so for now you might try to find a plugin that redirects the user to your homepage after they login. In the meantime I will see what can be done within the plugin to avoid having to go through WordPress to register and login the user.

I have added a sidebar login plugin that allows the user to login or register on the sidebar without leaving the page they are on, but once a user is logged in, it would be great if they could click on an ‘edit listing’ button and could edit their listing.

snails07, if you have added the Manage Listings page as described in the readme.txt file then all users would have to do would be click the manage listings link and it displays their listings with an edit button. You could always create a manage listings button that links to the manage listings page.

Okay sorry, maybe I should start reading the manuals for things!
    I’ll check it out
