[Plugin: WP Carousel] after server move, images and links refer to old server

  • I moved a wp version 3.0.1 site that uses wp_carousel version 0.53 to a new server. I have updated the siteurl and home values to the new domain name, as well as done a find and replace on the post_content field of the wp_posts table and everything seems to work except the carousel. It shows broken image links and the links still refer to the old server. What do I need to update to get the carousel working?

    It turns out the problem was root relative links for image source and links that needed to be file relative because the domain (a testing domain) has a subfolder in it.
