    Is there a way to display random posts using wp carousel?

    Yes, but only in WP Carousel 1.0.

    And random posts form the current category of the post?

    Sorry but not, you can’t do this with standard WP Carousel. You’ll need to do some modifications that would be difficult to perform for someone with no experience with PHP.

    If you had experience with PHP, you’ll find very useful the documentation I’m writing and I’ll release in a few days.
