[Plugin: WP Custom Fields Search] Hidden Field Not Working & Different Search Page

  • I have two questions.

    1. The plug-in seems to work great except for the “Hidden Constant” field. My searches seem to ignore the settings that I use with the Hidden field, however, When I change it do drop down it works fine. Does anyone else have this issue? Any known fix?

    2. On the search results page it loads what looks to be my default home page. On my home page I have a featured story section at the top of the page and I’d rather have that not show for the search results. The default built in WordPress search does not show this featured section. Any ideas on how I can use a different page or just hide the featured section?

  • I’m having the same issue and have been searching unsuccessfully for a solution. It’s a great plug-in but I don’t think it’s supported anymore. Figured I’d give this post a bump in hopes that someone will come up with an answer.

    I am also having the same issue. Results show on the bottom of the home page.
    I wish someone whould develop this. It has the potential to be a great plugin.
