• First off I want to let you know that this plugin is coming along nicely. The dev pace is incredible.
    Well done!

Here are a couple of features I think would make great additions to what WP Customer Reviews can already do.
Option to display reviewer gravatars – This is already being done by the plug in its backend.

Location field – It would be great if there was an option to include where someone is from. For example it could like: Vince M, Los Vegas
Last but not least (as others have mentioned) some sort of sidebar widget
I’d be happy to help with testing so feel free to let me know.

    Keep up the great work!

Once again thank you for this sweet plugin.

I also have a feature suggestion, what about adding an option for an editor’s review?
With the ability of adjusting the ratio by which the editor’s and customers’ reviews are weighted in to produce the final aggregate value?

Good suggestion. We’ll add it to the todo list.

I love this plug in! Each time it just gets better and better!

Just wondering, is it possible to be able move the reviews? For example, I have a great review but because it came in first it’s all the way at the bottom. I’d like more control over placement. Any possibilities of this happening?

The easiest way of doing this is to change the date on the review. We’ll add featured reviews to the “todo” list also.

    Excellent. Thanks!

If I not mistaken, change the date does not change the order. Once approved, the order of display seems to be fixed. I just tried to change a date. When I update the page, the reviews stay in the same spot (with the new date). I assume there is another ‘under the covers’ field which determined the order of display.

As a short term fix you could create a new review (a copy of the original) and delete the original. That would move it to the top. You could even then make the date match the original. I just tried it- this will work just fine.

Yes I believe you are correct. It is sorting by the ID probably and not the date. This will be fixed in the next release so that sorting by date descending would be the default.

Hey bompus, I’m glad you liked my other suggestion.

Regarding the sorting, what about adding a “Was this review helpful?” line at the bottom of each one featuring Yes No buttons?
Then they could be sorted primarily by helpfulness (the positives) then by date then the unhelpful ones (negatives).

If it sounds too much of a hassle, no worries, this was just an idea.
We are all grateful for the time you have devoted for the plugin already while proving it for free as well.

If you guys make an option to hide the ratings and show the name, company & website under and to the right of the review, this will be become the best testimonial plugin for wordpress today. For the moment you can just make the ratings optional.

    hey!

I love the plugin but was wondering if it’s possible to show the overall rating? thanks!

Best testimonial plugin available by far, and development is very active. I would also love to see a sidebar widget for random rotation of reviews.

Keep up the great work, and i encourage donations for anyone that uses the plugin. This could easily be made a premium plugin with its functionality and concepts. Rerward the good and active developers ??
