    Hey, thanks for a great plugin, it works very well for me. Any chance you would consideer adding a tick box to allow users to opt in/out of cookies? I appreciate this seems to go against your design philosophy, but given that 1) chrome doesn’t honor the browser settings and 2) firefox browser settings are “all or nothing” – cookies for all sites or none – it seems user opt in/out per site is the only practical way forward at the moment, and that seems to require a tickbox for each user?

    Hi Roggie;
    It took some time, but I’ve added support for opt-out cookies in version 0.8.0.

    That way you can either:

    1. add your own code (PHP or Javascript) to ask the user to opt in or out and set a dont_track_me=1 cookie to stop 3rd party tracking
    2. or (and that’s even easier) you can install Cookie Control which will set a cookie for users that opted out and WP DoNotTrack will use that cookie to have filtering kick in.

    Hope this helps!
    frank
