• Hello. Excuse me maybe I’ve chosen wrong place to write my question/proposition, but…

Let’s assume I have 100+ equal categories. I’m using widget WP-dTree Categories few times: first one with title “Title-1” (includes categories from 1st to 10th), second one with title “Title-2” (includes categories from 11th to 16th) and so on. Its obviously one should ask: “Hmm, is it possible to make these titles (Title-1, Title-2, etc.) self collapsible?” Somebody can answer – Hey, man, make one parent category that includes categories from 1st to 10th, then another one that includes 11th -16th, …, and problem solved. In my case this isn’t an option. It will be more pleasant to make these titles self collapsible. But I’m weak in java. Just started catching on php. Since it will take some time to make one more option in widgets can you give me local advice/hints? Cause I need it permanently without selection YES, INCLUDE THIS OPTION/DON’T INCLUDE. Thnx anyway and sorry for my English.

    Kind regards, Gryn Alexander.

What do you mean by “self collapsible”?

Activate “open to selection” and “close same level” to have the trees open only to the current post, while closing all other branches.

I’ll try that in another way) I want not only categories be able to collapse, but Title as well.

last screen shot – is it possible to make categories “october 2007” and “october 2006” folds up in title “Archives”? October 2007 and 2006 must be hidden till user clicks on title “Archives”. I need this cause i’ve got a huge amount of categories in probably 5-7 Titles (i add widget WP-dTree Categories 5-7 times). And it will be more suitable not to make user scrolling down before he finds necessary information.

    I see.

No, it’s currently not possible. If you want to hack it you’ll have to dive into the dtree-script and make it aware of the title element.
