[Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Applying variations crashes backend, soooo slow

    I’ve been playing around with this plugin for ages, trying to get to do exactly what i want, and just when i think i’m getting somewhere i’m then faced with a number bug/problem…

    I’m not finding it almost impossible to upload a product with the amount of variations i have. I’m selling digital photos and each photo has different size options, frame options, colour options…so there’s lots of variations. I spent quite some time putting them altogether carefully sorting out all the prices and then when i added a product and clicked apply variations i just get a spinning wheel of death for well over an hour…I can’t even sign out of wordpress, it just crashed the backend.

    Please can someone help….after months of working on this site, i fear i might have to scrap it and start over again if the variations don’t work.

    I now have this problem! I can’t even get into the site at all?

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Ok i’m back in to the wordpress control panel…i managed to re-upload the file variations.js and it seemed to do the trick…

    Still doesn’t explain or help me with my initial problem.

    So i’ve tried adding one variation at a time and although this seems to work better, its now showing as I have 1 product published but there is nothing there…??

    Can please someone help? Anyone?

    i now have this message where the product should display:

    Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 76021760) (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /homepages/14/d416865762/htdocs/test/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1125

    This is a site issue – not a plugin specific one. Try increasing the memory available to PHP.

    I have an 80mb memory limit, this should be more than enough…

    I’m slowly applying one variation at a time, saving the product then applying another and so on…this seems fine until it gets to the last few its just breaks down…

    I’m pretty sure this is not the site and is the plugin….

    I am using a theme called Phomedia – should i contact them instead?

    I am having the same issue!!!! Crashing and losing the shipping feature for my e commerce site. This has to be WP error
