[Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Save Draft Hangs or Crashes Site

    WPEC v3.8.7.6.2

    New installation of WPEC. Setup was fine and I made not changes to default install or theme files. Added Categories just fine and setup payment gateways.

    When adding the first product, a digital download, attempts to Save Draft of the product page just spin and the admin console hangs but recovers after a while. I have deactivated my other plugins but the problem persists.

    I will continue to investigate using different products and filetypes?

    Still happening with several test products with and without digital content. Looks like I will have to go with a commercial plugin just to get support.

    I found a workaround to this issue which apparently addresses other slow update issues as well.

    I had to remove ALL of the Update Services in Settings>>>Writing. This is only a workaround as it is still not clear why saving a draft of Preview envokes the services update.
