[plugin: wp ecommerce] Discount codes

  • Hello wordpress community,
    I am using the shopping cart wp ecommerce and it has been meeting my needs so far. My problem is with the coupon codes. They do work fine when entered during checkout, but I am trying to create a field on the homepage to enter the coupon code prior to checkout – similar to flowers.com after clicking the radio listeners button. When I copy the form code from the checkout page to the homepage it no longer works. I assume it has to do with the “action” attribute of the form tag but I’m not sure what to change it to that would still work with wp ecommerce shopping cart.
    I am really hoping for some feedback because I am lost on this one. I hope I have made my obstacle clear. Thanks in advance,

    Just an update:
    I have been tinkering around trying to make this work and still no luck. Anyone that has an idea or who can point me in the right direction to create a field to enter a coupon code on a homepage that would show all products discounted for that code prior to adding to cart/checkout ??
    A nudge in the right direction would be very appreciated because I am at a loss..
