Happy that I was to find this plugin, I installed and activated it. I checked and saved the settings for the plugin. Then I went to the editor, only to see that nothing had changed at all. In fact, I cannot detect anything different since I have activated the plugin.

Is it me? Can’t imagine, but well, if I overlooked something, please let me know.

    Thanks!
    Tom

    Hi Tom!

I am sorry that the plugin didn’t work for you at all. Can you provide me with a screenshot of what exactly is happening? Are you clicking on the “Plugin Editor” or “Theme Editor” links or the regular WordPress Editor Link?

    For Example:

    Hi Benjamin,

Thanks for responding so fast! If I click on the plugin- or theme editor, I do indeed see the new editor ?? And while I am writing, perhaps it’s meant for those editors only, not as a replacement for the article/page editor backend?

If so, I really missed that ??

I always edit php and css files via FTP, so I have never touch those editors, also because of the inevitable right problems. So I guess this plugin is not helping me, correct?

    Thanks again,
    Tom

    Tom,

Yes, that is correct. This is for the default plugin and theme editors built into WordPress, not for the page/post editors. I am sorry for the confusion!

    Hi Benjamin,

Okay, thanks for confirming that ??

I have just tested the editor and think it’s a huge improvement! Shame I cannot use it ??

    Cheers!
    Tom
