• Hi,

    Excellent plug in!!
Was working really nice but a little bug in my old version (0.2.9.4) made me to upgrade to 0.2.9.14.
Problem fixed, but now I can not add files from the front end. I get: “Unable to move file xxx! Is the upload directory writeable? xxx” It looks like the file is been uploaded in the .tmp directory but when to be moved to the right folder *ba-ta-boum*
Ftp works like a charm. Also front page widget for subscribers works like a charm which uses the same directory that front end tells me is not writeable.

Downloads & relevant permissions work fine. Try to tickle the .htaccess file a little bit, but doesn’t seem to have any affect on it.

    Any ideas?

    Still struggling.

    Any help, much appreciated.

    Thanks

I’m having the same problem with verison 0.2.9.34 on wordpress 3.5.1.

I’m wondering if it’s something to do with Better WP Security plugin? I haven’t had this problem before with other wordpress sites. I’m using an unfamiliar webhost this time around too though…

    Fixed.

I doubt this is the same problem you’re having, Amanolar. But for me it turns out the Category I was trying to put my files into didn’t have a folder on the actual server. All my other categories did though. I simply deleted the category and remade it, saw it generated a folder on the server, and was able to successfully move it into that category. How weird!

I’m guessing since I recently did a server switch, it probably didn’t transfer totally right.

Yeah, it looks like is not the same pb.
I only have one folder and they all go in there.
I had the pb a few months back and my memory is fading about it now, but I think I did not manage to crack it.
Customer was happy using the alternative ways to upload(web uploader and the ftp) and I decided it did not worth wasting more time on it.

    Thanks for you reply anyway.

No problem! As long as the customer is happy we’re all happy, right? ??
