    Hi cadeyern,

so at first i want to say that i love your gallery plugin, it looks great and its exact what i need. But, i dont get it to work, so i have a few questions.

Can i add the pictures only in an article or also in a page? i tried both nothing works for me ??

Do i have to create a normal wordpress gallery or just adding the pictures to the page?

For now it only shows me the pictures one below the other like, what can i do now? Oh, and i want to use the local store method and not the flickr method.

    Best Regards
    Crush

    Hi Crush,

You can insert a gallery anywhere in a post or a page. The single [wp-galleriffic] will list the images of the actual post or page, if you add postid=##, where ## is the id of the post, it will list the attached pictures of ## post, not the current.

If this did not answer your question, please specify it a littlebit more ??

    Best,
    Peter

hm okay, thanks for you answer, i think i′m one step further. i got an gallery now, but doesn′t look like your example site. I need a Gallery with thumbnails on the left or right side and a big main picture that changes.
here′s the url of the page im trying right now.

    Hi,

Under example site I bet you mean my own portfolio @ petermolnar.eu
That site uses a heavily modified CSS code, but since it’s only view source, here’s the code I use:

[CSS moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please just post a link to your site.]

This is for 40px thumnails and 540px images, you have to tweak it a little if your sizes differ.

Oh, and for correct layout, no default css nor css fix is needed, disable them.
