  • If you install this “WP Google Analytics” plugin, you’ll be able to add your tracking ID under the “Settings” section in the admin.

Thanks, Daniel. I did see that and did add my tracking ID. Is that enough and does that mean that I don’t have to add any tracking code?

That is correct. You should be good to go!

I’ve installed the WP Google Analytics plugin and activated it but I cannot get the tracking code to install.
I copy the code from the Google page and then paste it into the settings section of WordPress (the top section that is shown as Google Analytics tracking ID) and then save the changes. When I go back to the Google Analytics page it’s saying that the tracking has not been installed!!
I cannot be installing it correctly!!
    Thanks for your anticipated response

What’s the URL of your site? Google Analytics takes a little bit of time to start tracking new sites.

I have installed WP google analytics and added the UA code. I have also installed Google analytics dashboard. When I click on that setting, I get an error message that there is no account. When I click on the widget in the dashboard I get the following message:
You need to log in and select an account in the options panel. Where do I log in to find this options panel?
    Thanks for your help
