• i do use the Google Font Control Panel since some weeks and did pick the font-family: ‘Droid Sans’ to be used in the <p> areas of my blog.
    All went fine.

But today i had to recognize, this font has allways gone just bold!
I wonder a lot – why did this happen suddenly?

I tried to fix this dismatched appearance of the font but i couldn′t figure it out.

What should there be the reason: did Google chance the rules to deliver this font ‘Droid Sans’ today? It seems that the font-family: ‘Droid Sans’ should has newly been divided into ‘Droid Sans’ and ‘Droid Sans (plus bold)’ .

But what i took, it wouldn′t change to the regular font look back. ;-(

ok, i had a look to google-webfonts himself again and what i see is that there sadly & only 2 versions of the font droid are listed: the “Normal 400” and the “Bold 700 “!

but these aren′t like the “Droid Sans Regular” to be seen eg. at https://www.droidfonts.com/info/droid-sans-fonts/

so i want to ask, why google does publish only these 2 font types ……. and not the normal weighted “Droid Sans Regular”?!
