[Plugin: WP-Lifestream2] Cron Jobs not Updating

  • The cron jobs don’t seem to be running to update the feeds on my site. They seem to be set in UTC and my site was in UTC+1 (London) but I have changed my site to be UTC to try and minimise issues. After reseting the cron jobs and waiting for the required time, they still do not run.

    Is there way I can set a cron job on the server to update the feeds rather than setting it in WordPress dashboard?

    Hello,

    I recently ported this over from the original plugin and have been fixing/cleaning it up. Adding this to the issues and I will see what I can do. It would be great to be able to set it from something other than within the Dashboard.

    Your version certainly seems more polished. Aside from the possibility of an external cron job. Do you have any pointers as to why my feeds might not be updating?

    Hey,

    I actually just noticed the issue as well with my install. I am thinking this plugin’s core has not been updated for newer versions of WordPress which is causing the feeds NOT to work properly… much like a lot of the extensions not working as well. I am going to revisit the core code to make sure it is updated to work with new installs. What version of WordPress are you using?

    I’m running WordPress 3.2,1. I am having to manually refresh the feeds.

    Sounds good I will keep you posted. Hopefully this will start to get a bit more active as there are a couple other devs that are looking to bring this uptodate and back to life.
