[Plugin: WP Maintenance Mode] Countdown Timer Does Not Work

Is there any chance this plug-in is no longer supported and is just broken? No matter how I select it, the timer mode doesn’t work. It always says whatever minutes I enter and doesn’t count down. Anyone can help with that?

the plugin is supportet, i will check this – but my time is small for the free projects.
Can you write about the error, can you enter an time-stamp, save it and wat was in the frontend after this steps?

Frank, thank you for the response. You might very well want to check your donation link on the page of this plugin. I clicked it a few weeks ago because I wanted to make a donation. It lead to a page that had no link to contact you or a PayPal link. So even though it is free, if someone like me was looking to donate, we couldn’t find out where to do so.

Countdown is set to true. The date field is set to the date and time the site will be back up, right?? Do I then set value and unit?? Please let me know.

Also not sure what you mean when you say “change and update the scripts in 1.8.0”. Is this an instruction, or something you did, or something that you’re going to do?

Also, excuse me if there’s recent postings on this I didn’t see, but I did extensive testing and here’s what I concluded:

• In the Text box in Settings I added <div id=”countdown”></div> to give output to the jQuery.
• The seconds count down in Safari and Firefox but not in Chrome or IE.

Change hint is the small line from the changlog. The problem was solved in the version 1.8.0

the div is not the right way for add a countdown. See the hint on the textbox:

Use the first %1$s for the time value or countdown and second %2$s for the unit of the time or countdown-value; HTML and Shortcodes are possible. Use [loginform] for add the default login form in the maintenance page.

The string to replace was checked from the plugin to include the counter.
Also it is important, that you have a value and activation of countdown.
Can you check this and give feedback, that the countdown works.
