• I want to mask my affiliate links, or at least shorten them so people can actually read where I am linking them to.

I’m trying to use WP Marketer to do this and gain some other nice options as well, but it keeps giving me this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/prologue/domains/murphsy.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpmarketer/tabulator_navigation.php on line 5

I got this error a few weeks ago and sort of forgot about those links, but I noticed last week that there was an update of the plugin. Hoping the problem would be gone I downloaded it and tried to active the new one.

Only to get the same error message. So I feel I must be doing something wrong, the readme doesn’t say anything unusual though (just uplaod and go).

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

    Anyone?

    Hi.
I just got the same error when I tried to install it and I’m using wordpress 2.62. I was browsing through my cpanel dashboard and I noticed that my webhost is running PHP version 4.49. The notes for the plugin indicate that it will only run on PHP 5. Could that be the problem? Not an expert, just noticed it. Guess I’ll wait for my host to update their PHP version then I’ll try again.
    Regards.
