• Hello,

On our WordPress multisite installation, the following error message is displayed on individual user sites that are using WP-Members; however when users click the link stating “you can change this here” no setting option like the one described is present on the page users are directed to.

“Your WP settings allow anyone to register – this is not the recommended setting. You can change this here making sure the box next to “Anyone can register” is unchecked. [why is this?]”

Please advise an alternate means for users to access the setting you refer to so they can change it.

    Thanks
    Phil D

The subject line of this thread is misleading because the link is correct for standard WP installations. In this case we are speaking of a multisite installation. The plugin hasn’t ever supported multisite (it actually predates the merging of mu with the main WP package).

The setting that is being referred to is a standard WP setting. The warning message (and all of the plugin’s admin warning messages) can be turned off in the plugin’s options.

    Hi Chad,

Sorry for the misleading subject line.

Do you have plans to make it multisite compatible? Its a really great plugin.

Would a nice donation sweeten the offer and make it worthwhile?

    Thanks for responding.

    Phil D
