    Hi, Chad.
In the Users > WP-Members Users section, it is possible to bulk-activate inactive users. Are there any plans to introduce a reversal of this process, whereby users who are presently activated can be bulk-deactivated?

Reason: Our site is for a club with yearly memberships. Every year, a certain number of people choose to leave/not renew membership and presently the way to deactivate them is through individual editing from the main WP Users menu. Although this works, it’s rather tedious if you have a lot of members to deal with.

Hi Michael – there’s not anything in the plugin for bulk de-activation at this point, but that is definitely a good suggestion for a future feature. I will add it to the project list.

Having the ability to bulk activate would be great too.

pmagony – that facility does already exist.

    How?

Sorry – you need to go to the Admin UI, then select Users > WP Members. The ‘Bulk Actions’ tab is at the top left of this screen. HTH

I tried that, but when I hit bulk actions, nothing happens. The page simply reloads and my users are unchecked.

You are selecting them each individually? Putting a tick in the little box to the left of each user’s name before you click on the Bulk Activate button?

Correct, I select 3 users (checkbox each one), then hit “Apply” next to Bulk Actions. The page simply refreshes and never materializes.

“Activate” must be selected in the dropdown before you click “Apply” – if it says “Bulk Actions” no action is selected.

Hmm. Well, I’m a bit stuck then – it works fine for me on WP 341 and the latest version of WPM. If your page isn’t refreshing properly, it might suggest a problem with your overall PHP memory limit, but I’d have thought you’d have other problems too if that were the case. Maybe Chad will notice the activity in this thread and have some other/better ideas…

    EDIT: Geez! he just has!

I just realized what the issue was… I was on Users -> All Users. Not WP-Members. I’m set, thanks!
