• For those of us who have installed WP into an aliased directory which might live outside the document root (and other configurations including the use of symlinks in *nix or the scarcely-known junctions in Windows), it would be helpful to have an option in the advanced options allowing for alteration of the $min_documentRoot variable.

    I had to manually edit min’s config.php and explicitly set $min_documentRoot to the physical path of one directory higher than the one that WP is installed in to combat the dreaded 400 Bad Request. My other option would have been to set it to WP’s directory but set the b variable to nothing.
