[Plugin: WP-o-Matic] Installed Wp-o-matic, doesnt work with popular simple tags plugin.

  • Am not sure why, but when I installed this plugin simple tags (auto import feature) stopped working and it also screwed up the wordpress stats info on the main dashboard. Am running WP 2.7

    I think this plugin should also warn of permission settings, it didnt work for ages for me then I changed the folder permission settings via ftp and hey presto!

    Great plugin, but I cant use it unless it works seamlessly with the popular simple tags plugin.

    looking forward to the new release, hope it fixes the issues im having

  • Please specify plugin versions and the exact failure as well as just what you had to do to get it working.

    I have been using these two together for a long time on several blogs and the latest versions of all play fine together.

    Simple Tags 1.6.5
    WP-o-Matic 1.0RC4-6
    Wordpress 2.7

    Automated cron jobs dont have simple tags added, they post with no tags, I have to manually take take the posts offline (set it to a private post) then reset it to published, then click submit for the post to display and the tags are then added.

    Doesnt do it automatically. Hope someone can offer some insight into why this happens.

    simple tags still dont work with it.
