[Plugin: WP Photo Album Plus] Misuse or bugs?

I’ve just implemented this gallery within a site and I stumble upon a few quirks of which I’m not sure whether or not these are bugs or misconfiguration from my side:

1. I’ve activated breadcrumbs on my site and the breadcrumbs-structure when viewing an albums’ content = ” main album” -> “sub-album”->picture title. The sub-album-part is underlined as a link, but when you click on it, it returns an empty page

2. almost the same happens when I created a menu-item to a separate album (without sub-albums. I used the code in the specific page as can be read below, but the result is an empty page. There are items in this album, and a page containin multiple subalbums does display its content correctly
