If you set the status of a photo to Featured, there will be meta tags in the header in two ways.

A link to the page with the photo in it if it appears on the current page view,
A link to the image file it if it does not appear on the current page view.

This is a very good SEO mechanism.
(or do you want HUMAN friendly urls?)

    Hi,

Thanks for your answer and wonderful plugin and your efforts that make strangers lifes easier and more interesting.

There is one more question for me regarding this issue.

Is it possible to have the name of the album/photo in the URL instead of the IDs. For example:

    Instead this:
    /?wppa-album=2&wppa-photo=2&wppa-occur=1

    To have like this:
    /?wppa-album=ALBUM_NAME&wppa-photo=PHOTO_NAME&wppa-occur=1

    Thanks in advance.

Check Table IV-A1 and A2 of the Photo Albums -> Settings admin page. This works for photo names only (not YET for album names, but maybe in the future) and in modern browsers only. Pls read the help (under the ?) of item IV-A2
