Thanks for solving the problem, but I have also another problem. On the page below I have a slideshow. I like to have the lightbox appear when you click on the thumbnail. On the first photo this happens when you refres the page but for the next photo’s the lightbox is not working. There is also no navigation in the lightbox.

I see no slideshow on that page…

In any case you need Lightbox-3 plugin as it is the only one that has its contents updated when needed (after ajax operations etc).

The slideshow is in the sidebar where I used the sidebar slideshow widget. You find it below the text widget.

I’m using Lightbox Plus because the Lightbox 3 plugin is not to be found anymore

I did a trick for lightbox 3 to give the desired result. Now i will have to digg into the lightboxplus code, to find out if i can do such a thing for lightboxplus also. Thanx for this report, i will let you know if i succeed in this… (gvd)

Is it possible for the Album Widget to link to a lightbox of the photos within the album rather than linking to the “subalbums and thumbnails” or “slideshow”?

This would be really valuable to me.

Fixed in 4.8.5, you can even also link the cover images to lightbox. see the Changelog
