  • Is the user id supposed to be my user id or the id of the application?

When I sync the posts, I get an error and one old post from my blog ends up on my profile with a whole bunch of comments that are on my blog but unrelated to the post.

Another time I posted a couple test comments to a post on my blog and they ended up as comments on unrelated posts on my fb profile.

    Hi bushtool,

“user id” mean your facebook account id not the application.

please install the lastest version “0.4.5”, go to manage pairs tab and reset the pairs, then you can auto detect the pairs or specify them manually.

it is high recommended to install SFC

if you still have any problem let me know

    Tried to activate and got:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Client Server

Any thoughts? I’m using v 2.9.2 and a bunch of plugins.

i found the conflicting plugin. It’s called Facebook OpenGraph, by Sociable. Its like SFC, but uses the new facebook graph. hmmm.

I deactivated OpenGraph and Activated SFC, now I get this when trying to sync:

    Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘FacebookRestClientException’ with message ‘A session key is required for calling this method’ in /home/nqbebrg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-facebook-connect/facebook-platform/facebookapi_php5_restlib.php:3112 Stack trace: #0 /home/nqbebrg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-facebook-connect/facebook-platform/facebookapi_php5_restlib.php(1468): FacebookRestClient->call_method(‘notes.get’, Array) #1 /home/nqbebrg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-posts-fb-notes/wpfb.php(66): FacebookRestClient->notes_get(‘77100963’, ”) #2 /home/nqbebrg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-posts-fb-notes/wpfb.php(94): wpfb_get_fbnotes() #3 /home/nqbebrg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-posts-fb-notes/wpfb.php(355): wpfb_get_not_pairs_fb() #4 /home/nqbebrg/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php(339): wpfb_manage_pairs_menu() #5 /home/nqbebrg/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php(95): do_action() #6 {main} thrown in /home/nqbebrg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-facebook-connect/facebook-platform/facebookapi_php5_restlib.php on line 3112

Cannot give permissions – it just opens and immediately closes the window. And the page dosen’t save the secret key – simply empty space, though it says that options are saved.
    Doesn’t work

Hi Devmosh.. I got this error when activating this plugin:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getUser() on a non-object in /home/opnspcco/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-posts-fb-notes/config.php on line 28

Updated to 1.0.1: plugin successfully activated, but the plugin still can’t be use as:

    – But the option page is blank
    – “Manage pairs”, “Blog only”, and “Facebook only” option give ‘Fatal error: Call to a member function api() on a non-object in /home/opnspcco/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-posts-fb-notes/helper.php on line 46’

FYI I’m using WP 3.0.1 with BuddyPress

Thanks for the update. The plugin us now working fine.

BTW, why don’t you just make the posting to Facebook just like WordBooker plugin (post to wall as a link or status update) and sync comments between blog post and comments on Facebook wall?

It just a suggestion if it is possible as IMHO, it is good for increasing blog rank.

Anyway, thank for creating a good plugin ??

Hi Reezo, and thanks for suggestion

i have many things and ideas in my to do list, and i will be happy if their are any other suggestion.

feel free to ask about any feature related to wp and fb not only in the sync area.

Hi to all, hoping the correct support page of this plug-in is here.
I’ve installed the v.1.1 of the plug-in ( not updated ), after remove of the old version that require the ‘facebook connect’ plug-in ( removed also ), now I obtain an error like this when I try to open the configuration page or the widget:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getUser() on a non-object in /path/to/blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-posts-fb-notes/admin.php on line 23

The widget also block the blog load.

I’ve look in the code, at the 23 line there is a concatenated setting that use the function getuser(), located in the facebook.php file.
In this file there is a call to the database to locate the fbid in the wp_usermeta table, I’ve try to remove the fbid meta_key, bad hoping the plugin ask to me another time, but the error persist.
I’ve no other sources nor tricks to try others solutions.

    Hi devmohsh.

I have a minor problem here.. the Connect button doesn’t appear on the Front end, everything else is working fine.
