[Plugin: WP-Property – WordPress Powered Real Estate and Property Management] Bulk Action Delete Per

  • The ‘Delete Permanently’ selection on the ‘Bulk Actions’ drop-down list box near the top of the ‘All Properties’ page in the admin system does not work for ‘Published’ properties. Published properties first have to be moved to trash and then deleted, which is time-consuming, an unnecessary CPU workload, and unnecessarily expands the size of the database where large numbers of listings have to be deleted.

  • We’ve done that on purpose, because ‘Delete Permanently’ is too dangerous function for properties.

    If ‘Delete Permanently’ has been intentionally designed to not work it should not be a drop-down selection when displaying ‘Published’ properties.

    However, it would be much better to make it a working selection that displays a pop-up ‘Are You Sure’ dialog box to catch unintended deletions.
