    I’ve moved our site on to a server (nnot live to the world) and I’ve started testing it out. The site speed is up but the search facility – wp-property has barely improved. The pagination doesn’t even work. I’m surprised the plugin is so slow ??

    WP-Property is used for sites with many thousands of properties. Please, try to systematically disable other plugins to make sure that it’s not connected. You can also try to use some cache plugin, e.g. W3 Total Cache.
