[Plugin: WP Rss Poster] Tips for Using "Exclude Options"

This is a useful, neat, and intelligent plugin, thank you.

We’d like some guidance on the use of the plugin’s “Exclude Options,” i.e. “Exclude: … This plugin will not fetch data after this end point.”

More specifically, we’d like to know if we can use that to limit the size of the post content (to a number of characters or words), while retaining the Source Article (if checked in “Settings … Show Links as Source”).

The purpose is courtesy to the article source, in case they would want/request that their articles be not republished in full elsewhere.
