[Plugin: WP Security Scan] You do not have sufficient permissions to access

  • After running the “wp_” to something else feature of WP Security Scan I ran into the following problem:

    “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

    I had to use phpMyAdmin and a couple of SQL things that I know nothing about to make my site work again.

    At first I was thinking of recommending this plugin to a couple of friends, but….. I don’t want to put them in the same position of having to poke around in phpMyAdmin to save their wordpress install.

    Is there a fix coming?
    Is there a way to determine if an installation will have this problem or not?
    Basically is there any way I can determine if it is safe to recommend this plugin?
