    Hi Camu,
Thanks for your quick reply on my previous question.
I have Statpress installed. If I installed Slimstat as well, would it interfere in the operation of Statpress (or vice versa), or is their operation compartmentalized? I don’t plan on having two analytic plugins at the same time for very long, just long enough to make sure everything works the way I want it to.

    Thanks

    Hi there

I’ve never personally tried to run both at the same time, but I’m told they don’t interfere with each other. But your site will probably be slower because of the double work you’re doing to track your visitors.

    Cheers
    Camu

Wp-slimstat runs fine with Statpress side by side.
    Best regards

Great to know. It would be interesting if you could share your findings.

    Camu

I installed Wp-slimstat with Jetpack, Statpress(or variants) and Statcomm in one site and they seems to run fine without conflicts with each other. This test wasn’t very thorough but no errors were detected in three months of activity.

Don’t try to run similar flavours of Statpress at same time though (like Statpress Reloaded with Statpress) since they share same table name but not always the same table structure and shares option variables in most cases.

Same situation applies to Statpress visitors, Statpress Seo solution, Smashing Analytics , Newstatpress, StatpressCN and few others. Choose one and deactivate others.
