• HELP! Super cache is running amuck with my home page. I do not use the default wordpress index.php as my home page .. I use index.html. This has not been a problem, even though I’ve used supercache for months now.

But several weeks ago I experimented with the Lockdown setting for about an hour (it’s OFF), and now supercache insists on displaying random pages as the home page to people without a cookie, which is a disaster. The latest thing it shows is index.php — BAD. I can’t get it to stop, and have no idea why it does this now. I’ve put index.php and index.html as exclusions, but it still shows index.php.

How do I get supercache to leave my home page alone again??????

I found some great instructions here for removing all traces of supercache and reinstalling, so I’m trying that. Fingers crossed …

It didn’t work even after a complete removal and re-install, it STILL serves up a random cache for the homepage. Interestingly, it doesn’t do this until several hours have passed. Deleting the cache instantly solves the problem. HELP! I can’t uninstall super-cache, I have to make it work!
