I don’t understand why my home page is removed from cache every 10 minutes.

In Expiry Time & Garbage Collection section I have set the cache timeout to 0 seconds in order to disable it (my website receives little traffic and content does not change often).

Yet, the schedule that runs every 600 seconds remove the home page from cache.

    Why is that ?.

After more investigation I found out that:

    – if I activate cache preload, garbage collection never occurs and the home page is not deleted from the cache …..

    …. until I log into wordpress !

Right when I log in, the home page is removed from the cache.

I have checked the option to not use the cache for logged in users. But this is not supposed to remove the home page from cache…

Is this a bug or did I misconfigure something ?

well as it turns out, it is a bug and it’s been reported 4 months ago already…

    thanks
