• I am using multisite with add-on domains and the domain mapping plug-in. I added a new subsite yesterday and the only visible content on the site is the default page that was created. Even new pages and new widget content is not visible. Not only does it make it difficult to work on the site but website visitors and search engines will only see the default sample page.

How often is the cache updated? Is there a way to make the content visible immediately? I checked the setting “Don’t cache pages for known users” which I thought would eliminate the problem at least for me but it didn’t.

I am using the following settings:
Cache hits to this website for quick access.
Use PHP to serve cache files.
Compress pages so they’re served more quickly to visitors.
    304 Not Modified browser caching.
Don’t cache pages for known users.
    Cache rebuild.

I assume you did not look at it in time, so I pasted it again, this time I won’t delete it until you have seen it

Also, I still don’t know how to delete the log files.

For some strange reason I found one subsite that I was able to edit but I found others where the edits are not visible. If you want to have access to my multisite, I will be happy to provide you with access.

Is there any chance that you can help me out with this? It is a real problem. It baffles me as to why I can publish content on at least one subsite but not on others.

Unfortunately I don’t have time to delve too deeply into the logs. The best way of debugging it is by posting to each blog you have problems with and checking the logs immediately after. Also ftp to your server and check the files in wp-content/cache/supercache/HOSTNAME/ and see if they were updated.

I think you can ignore that warning as your site’s DNS can’t resolve the hostname so it’s a local configuration issue which you should probably look into.
