[Plugin: WP Super Cache] Latest wp-supercache update

I’ve had quite a few issues with clients sites today/yesterday where the wp-supercache would just cause huge amounts of problems, expired pages wouldn’t regenerate and the wp-admin would just be completely inaccessable.

Has anyone had this issue? To fix i’ve had to remove wp-supercache completely.

5th site today all different hosts after upgrading that this happened, I would downgrade but the problem persisted, only after removing wp-supercache completely and clearing out the cache directory and removing the cache, true from wp-config and out of the .htaccess would everything correct itself.

The latest being pcweenies.com, maybe something from last version to this latest that if upgraded while having cache’d files might have disrupted something?
