• I’m getting strange results with Yslow in FF.

One time I run the test and I get an F for CDN and HTTP request.

The next time I run it I get an A for both.

I’m getting F’s more often than A’s. I do have a CDN and synced.

    Thanks for the help. ??

  • Odd, so Yslow thinks the CDN is turned off sometimes? I’ve never seen that happen.

    Thanks for the reply,

I’m hoping if I give it time, a light bulb will go off.

Yes, but now it is doing it consistently. I get an F every time now, the best I’ve gotten was a C on using a CDN. I get the same thing when I run it Yslow through Show Slow. Was hoping it was my computer.

Google Webmaster tools is giving me horrible scores with it speed analysis, slower than 90%. At one point it went to 100%. That happened after I started using caching. LOL ??

If you just happen to have lots of free time ha-ha, maybe you or another kind user can go to http;//cebuexperience.com and take a quick look.

I had to turn the compression in the CDN tool off because it was breaking the menus on my theme.

I’m pretty confused about compression. I tried different things. My them has an option to combine css into one file, I’m running gzip and I have minify installed too. I thought maybe I was creating conflicts with the different tools in place, but I don’t fully understand what they do.

I tried various combination. Yslow really doesn’t like it much when I turn off gzip.

I have more question but I’ll break them up. I make things too complicated sometimes. ??

Also how does preload figure into this CDN or does it figure in at all.

I’m having trouble understanding how all the different settings and features work together.
