• Super cache appears to be causing outages on my account.

I’m using hostgator VPS (level 4). I had to upgrade from reseller account to level 3 then went to level 4.

After install Super Cache, I started getting outages. So I upgraded my hosting and that helped.

I started reducing the time for garbage collection and that seemed to help more with the outages. Am I on the correct track with that. I think I have it set to 300. When I lowered it from the default of 3600 (I think) that seemed to help with crashing.

When I removed the plugin and tried a different caching program, I didn’t have any outages for two weeks. But I read that program was causing problems regarding link just by splitting the site up into www and non www variations of the site. But the outages stopped.

The outages are not bad now but they did return when I returned to Super Cache. Settings I need to work on?

    I’m running in mod_rewrite mode
