[Plugin: WP Super Cache] tools.pingdom is driving me crazy!

  • so, before using this plugin, if i ran a test on https://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/ my blog loading time was 4 seconds.
    Now after installing this plugin the speed time is 8-9 secs!!!
    why this??? my plugin is set on PHP mode
    before that it was an Mod_rewrite but the situation was the same

    i run a test on other competitors of mine running this plugin and they got a time decrease…

  • You could enable debugging in the plugin and watch where the biggest time drain is. If a page on your site takes 4 seconds to load there’s something wrong on there however. Perhaps your server is underpowered?
