[Plugin: WP Super Cache] Uninstalling stops TDO mini forms working

I have been trying to uninstall WP Super Cache, but there is a problem with TDO mini forms, and the form ‘preview’ button stops working, if caching is disabled, the image preview just diplays garbage or no image at all.

I have removed all the files and the wp_config entry, (define(‘WP_CACHE’, true);) but the site still has the TDO problem.

Initially there was some issues on the site with some sort of ‘compression’ error message, (unfortunately I didn’t make a note of then exact message), which happened very infrequently over a day or two, which eventually turned the site in to just displaying white/blank pages.

I renamed all the files in the WP Super Cache plugin folder, and then renamed them back again, to see which file was causing the blank pages, the main ‘culprit’ seems to have been wp-cache-phase2.php. Since then I have renamed the (old) WP Super Cache folder and files to disable it, and re-installed WP Super Cache, which works now, but I cannot un-install it without getting these (TDO mini form) errors, any ideas?
