[Plugin: WP Super Cache] Uninstall/Reinstall Super Cache fixed 2 different sites

  • I had two different blogs – version 2.8.6 with the latest version of WP Super Cache that I had been updating all along. I started having issues – some content wouldn’t be sent compressed, the number of cached files would show zero even though there were files in the directory, one of the sites only worked in half-on mode, etc, etc. Nothing catastrophic – just bugs and issues.

    I completely uninstalled WP Super Cache according to the directions that come with the plugin, re-installed it, and everything on both sites began working beautifully again. WP Super Cache is astounding when it’s working properly. Massive difference in speed and resource utilization.

    I just wanted to let everyone know that if you’re having issues, simply uninstall and re-install WP Super Cache and see if that fixes it – it only takes 10 minutes and the directions that come with the plugin work perfectly.

    I was transferring the entire WP site to a different server, I have everything running except for WP Super Cache, its messing up Posts and a whole lot more… Now I’m in the very worst case scenario of my tech life.

    I did all the trick on the Readme files, but yeah you guess it right! I’m stuck…
