[Plugin: WP Super Cache] wp multisite domain mapping and wp super cache
-
running wp super cache 0.9.9.6. ok. so i have wp multisite setup with sudomain blogs. also running buddypress on the main blog. and i also am running a domain mapping plugin. everything seems to work great except the following strange behavior.
when a user maps a custom domain say user1customdomain.com to their subblog.mainsite.com domain (i.e., all pages on user1’s site is now like user1customdomain.com/page1), the following happens.
when user2 is logged in and goes to user1’s blog, the buddypress admin bar shows user2 as logged out. i have super cache set to not cache files for known users. when user2 views source on user1’s blog, it shows that the page is cached. when user2 goes to another blog that doesn’t have domain mapped, user2 is showed as logged in in bp admin bar and view source shows dynamic page being served.
now, when user1 goes to his/her own blog user1customdomain.com, user1 is shown the dynamic page! as one would expect. the bp admin bar shows user1 as logged in also.
so the question is: why user2 sees cached page at another user’s subblog if that subblog is domain mapped to a custom domain? i suspect it has something to do with htaccess? maybe i have to add some code there?
very strange.
