[Plugin: WP Super Cache] Writeable warning, and permissions question?

  • I am getting this error from WPSC:

    Warning! /home/its/public_html/ is writable. Please make it readonly after your page is generated as this is a security risk.

    I’ve read some other threads on this but I’m not seeing a policy statement of any sort… The directory is 750 and it is shared hosting via a reseller account on HostGator.

    I think I do not have to do anything and I can ignore the message. Am I correct?
