  • Testing v0.9.3 with WP 3.0.4 and this issue has still not been resolved. Since the author has let it sit for 2 months now without a response, I’m probably going to have to look at other options.

Makes me wonder if the commercial code is any better. Either he/she fixed it in the commercial version and refuses to back-port the code to sell more copies, or he/she can’t fix it. Neither scenario inspires confidence.

I gave up on this plugin. I wouldn’t trust the paid version if the free one doesn’t work. Try Modal Dialog by Yannick Lefebvre. Works great and he personally answers email requests.

IE problem here too! I already did a good design on the plugin and was working well on normal browsers but on IE it simply crashes. The popup pushed down the whole page without any overlay.

I had similar symptoms to barnabasnagy and they were caused by the Style Sheet not loading – search your page source for “wp-super-popup/colorbox.css” to see if it’s the same cause.
I’m only a 2 day old user, and we’ve tested in FF, IE(8), Safari (PC & iPad) & Chrome and it appears OK to us.
I’ve tweaked it to become a popup on demand, but if I’ve tweaked properly that shouldn’t impact the fundamental workingness (should it?).
Anyway, FYI, here’s our implementation running on a Google Places eCourse Landing Page… (click the “Contact Me” button to pop the form).
