[Plugin: WP-Table Reloaded] Bulk Export of Tables

Hi,

I suggest using the “WP-Table Reloaded Dump File” feature on the “Plugin Options” screen for this.
You will get a full backup of all tables and settings, which you can use to restore all tables.

Bulk exporting tables to CSV/XML/HTML is not possible at the moment.

Thank you for the quick response. Just that you know, I am a power user on a daily basis and I believe features like bulk import of spreadsheets (e.g., <10 at a time, rather than 1 at a time that I am doing right now to get up to 16 spreadsheets I upload daily), plus bulk export to CSV (so that I can actually see what it is that I have uploaded all these months in a usable format!) will be VERY useful features to have. Just a thought for consideration for future releases.

I am sure there are other heavy users out there with similar needs. Let me know if you have any plans for this. Thank you again for a great plugin.

thanks for your detailed feedback, I appreciate it!

Currently I don’t have plans to implement a bulk export and import. Those would require quite some redesign of the structure of the code in the plugin, to make the functionality robust enough to work on most or all browser and server configurations.

I’m also a little hesitant, because I believe that the majority of users will only import/export small numbers of tables at a time. This is because a lot of power users also have other methods of dealing with large tables, like a custom mechanism for table generation (or not using the plugin for that).
