When I import a csv table or make a table with the plugin, I find that the column width are never equal. The first(left most) column has the shortest width while the last(right most)column has the biggest width. As a result the tables don’t look visually nice.
Please have a look at this blog post of mine where I have made a table to get a better understanding of the issue.

    Hi,

that is correct, column widths are usually directly calculated by the browser, taking into account the size of the content in the cells.
If you want them to be equal, you’ll need to manually set them. For more on that, please check the FAQ at https://tobias.baethge.com/wordpress-plugins/wp-table-reloaded-english/faq/ where you will find some example CSS code.

    Hi,
Thanks for the clarification. Is it possible to include a feature in your plugin, where by clicking a checkbox, the user can make all the columns of equal width.

    Hi,

no, this likely won’t happen, as the CSS code for this is not that complicated and another checkbox would just clutter the interface.

    Regards,
    Tobias
