    Hi,

I created a table using WP-Table Reloaded and want to create a space within the table so that the second row first column starts after few spaces. The effect that I am trying to achieve is that the second row item is the baby of the first row item (almost the way when we enter bullets for something).

My table can be viewed at https://newengland.sla.org/board-information. The item that I want to start after few spaces is Boston/Cambridge (surrounding areas) under the table “Committee Chairs” table which is the child of Programming Chair (in the first row). Finally, the effect that I am talking is implemented in this wiki https://wiki.sla.org/display/SLABOS/Board+Information (please look at the same table there and see what I am talking about).

I tried to use the html tags & nbsp; and   using <p> </p> tag but it didn’t work.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi Gauri,

    thanks for your question.

In the wiki that you are refering too, this is done with &nbsp; before the actual text. This should work in your table, too.

    Can you try again with

    &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Boston/Cambridge
    &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;(surrounding areas)

as the cell content (the &nbsp; need to be in each line of text in the cell, so that all lines are shifted).

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

Thanks for the extra info. that I was missing in my code (the space between & and nbsp). I did exactly as you told me and it is working now.

    Great tool!
