[Plugin: WP-Table Reloaded] css for a specific cell, flash and pdf file

  • Hi Tobias, many thanks for the amazing plugin.

    I’m wondering if it is possible to assign a css (background color, etc) for a single cell without affecting it’s row or column’s css.

    Let’s says I have a table with 3 rows and 5 columns and I want to give the first cell of the first row a red background and to the 2nd or 3rd another color without affecting their column bg color.

    my 2nd question is related to the downloadable files, is it possible to offer a pdf file next to the csv and excel files? that will be really great to have that.

    my 3rd and last question is about the flash used in this plugin for the download/print/copy. Since many users disable flash in their browser for security or any other reason, is there any other alternative like a simple html or php?

    Good that you found the FAQ question about the styling of individual cells!

    For your other questions:

    I don’t know any possibility to add such a “Save to PDF” button, sorry. I’m not sure if Flash can actually save to PDF, and even if it could, it would be pretty hard to do.

    For the third question: This might be possible with PHP, but I don’t see an alternative implemented in the near future.

    I’ll try some wp plugins that save the post/page as pdf file and let you know if the formatting of the table is good enough.
